Mobile IoT builds practical, modular IoT solutions for real-world use:
- Boat: monitoring and alerts for key onboard systems
- Home: sensors and automations for safety and efficiency
- Caravan: remote status and comfort monitoring
We do this because the market is full of sensors that each come with their own app, software, and management — and in many cases they can’t be meaningfully connected, because every manufacturer builds its own ecosystem. With Home Assistant we can connect (almost) everything in a vendor‑independent way and create real value through automations — without lock‑in, because it’s open source. At the same time, there are robust, reliable sensors — and others that look identical but disappoint in practice. That’s why we focus on Zigbee (in our opinion the best wireless IoT protocol) and select the right sensors, which we test depending on the use case. And because many customers are still overwhelmed by setup, installation, and configuration, we exist: we take care of the installation and, if desired, the configuration — so it simply works in the end.
Our IoT mentor
A big part of our IoT know-how goes back to Gernot B.. As a true IoT evangelist, he taught us—patiently, clearly, and with a strong focus on real-world practice—how to turn sensors, data, and automations into robust solutions, from first idea to reliable operation.
We especially value his ability to focus on what matters, his enthusiasm for clean architecture, and the way he explains complex topics so they become immediately useful in day-to-day work.
If you tell us your goals and environment, we’ll recommend a package that fits.
